Ok, confession time.

I’ve been doing Body Beast for over 6 months, but I’d ignored Lucky 7. I got it free with my purchase of Body Beast. It’s not part of the workout calendar, but it is useful.

It’s GREAT. It’s a set of pyramid workouts with multiple types of rep per pyramid. Example: You might do a pushup, then a squat, then 2 pushups, 2 squats, then 3…4…on up to 7. You get the idea. You can use dumbbells or an EZ Curl bar (preferred).

You use Light weights, so this is for ANYONE. Even someone in shape will get a good tone and sweat off this. I DID.

In summary, it’s a short 22 minute workout that is for Body Beast what Insanity: Fast and Furious is for Insanity. They are great starter workouts to get ready for the main program or to use if you miss a workout day.

Example: Yesterday morning I did Lucky 7 in the morning, then Shoulders and Abs that evening because I missed a day the day before due to a super long flying day.

BOTH are FREE with purchase of their respective program. You can order them separately, but I’d just got ahead and get the full Body Beast since Lucky 7 is $20 but it comes free with Body Beast for $40.

Insanity Fast and Furious is worth of consideration for purchase by itself due to the higher cost of Insanity.

So, pick the way you want to go: hardcore conditioning with Insanity or bigger mass with Body Beast and use those extra free discs, or get either to get a taste of the program at a lower cost.
